What a night! A successful evening in Seattle on April 23rd led to one of the best Wildlife Media gatherings to date. It was a thrill to see everyone there to support BEARTREK. The event was held in the Big Picture Theatre located below El Gauchos Restaurant. After some good food and drinks, the attendees assembled in the theatre for Chris Morgan’s presentation, the 20-min BEARTREK demo reel, and comments from two of the featured biologists in the film, Siew Te Wong and Robyn Appleton.
Wong and Appleton were a special treat for everyone there that evening, to finally come face-to-face with some of the key researchers of two of the bear species highlighted in BEARTREK. You could see their passion for what they’re doing, and that will speak directly to audiences everywhere.
The night was a thrill, and surely anyone who attended won’t soon forget it. The wonderful venue, food, and drinks were made possible by John Taylor, co-founder, CEO, and board chair of Wildlife Media.
If the Big Picture event was just a preview of what’s to come from Wildlife Media and the people involved in BEARTREK, we’re all in for very exciting times ahead.
